The STaR chart is a teacher tool used in Texas to plan, self-assess, and measure schools' technology integration and readiness. It measures four areas: teaching and learning, educator preparation, leadership and support, and infrastructure. Schools are rated at one of four proficiency levels in each area. STaR chart data is used to create technology plans, set goals, measure proficiency, document progress towards federal mandates, and determine funding priorities.
