PRENATAL DEVELOPMENT
PRENATAL DEVELOPMENT
Conception occurs and development Begins.
All of the majors structures of the body are
forming and the health of the mother is primary
concerned.
INFANCY AND TODDLERHOOD
The first year and a half two years of life are
ones of dramatic growth and change.
 The language of the newborn is to Cry.
A newborn have a keen sense of hearing
but poor vision.
In 1 year and 2 years old they begin to walk
and talk.
They are the great immitators
EARLY CHILDHOOD
EARLY CHILDHOOD
*In early Childhood they are busy learning language is
gaining a sense of self and greater independence and is
beginning to learn the physical world.
* Preschool years
* The vocabulary and pronounciation continue to expand.
* Preschoolers may have initially have interesting
conceptions of size, time, space and distance.
*In early childhood they develop fears.
* They can begin to read
* They can socialize with other children
MIDDLE CHILDHOOD
MIDDLE CHILDHOOD
Middle Childhood is what children experience at this age is
to stay connected to their involvement in the early school.
The school compare students and make these comparisons
public through team sports, test scores and other form of
recognitions.
*They begin to learn about social relationships beyond the
family through interaction with friends and fellow students.
* Start to think about the future.
*Both large and small muscles well developed
* Developed complex Gross and Fine Motor Skills
ADOLESCENCE
Adolescence
Adolescene is a period of dramatic physical Change
marked by an overall physical change marked by and over
all physical growth, sexual maturation known as puberty.
*Puberty occurs
*Adolesence begin to think of new possibilities and to
consider abstract concepts such as love, fear and freedom.
* Extremely concerned with appearance
*Trying to establish self- identity
EARLY ADULTHOOD
Early Adulthood
Early Adulthood is the time of focusing on the future and
putting a lot of energy into making choices that will help to
earn the status of a full adult in eyes of others.
*Emotional maturition continues to develop
*Love and work are primary concerns at this stage of life.
* Usually learned to accept responsibility for actions &
accept criticsm
MIDDLE ADULTHOOD
Middle Adulthood
This is the period in aging that began earlier, becomes more
noticeable and a period at which many people are at their
peak of productivity of love and work .
* Physical Changes
* Main Concerns: Children Health, job, security, aging
parents and fear of aging.
* Love & acceptance still a major role
LATE ADULTHOOD
Late adult hood
This period of the life span has increased in the last 100
yrs.
The Young old is who are between 65 and 79
Old old is those who are 80 and older.
* Physical detorioration(Brittle bones, poor coordination)
* Memory problems
* Very concerned with the health and finances
