The St. Thomas EduCo Partnership
St. Thomas has partnered with global
education group EduCo to improve
international student access. The strategic
collaboration leverages EduCo’s
international networks and student support
expertise.
As part of the university’s new strategic
plan, St. Thomas 2020: Living Our Mission,
Expanding Our Horizon, St. Thomas
affirmed its conviction to diversity. St.
Thomas strives to create a vibrant, diverse
community in which, together, we work for
a more just and inclusive society. That work
includes greater geographical outreach,
with which EduCo assists.

outgrowth of the strategic plan as St.
Thomas undertakes positive steps to
internationalize our student body and

Under the agreement, EduCo provides
targeted international student recruitment,

Heritage

St. Thomas is the largest private university in

Enrollment
St. Thomas enrolls 6,350 undergraduates and 3,871
graduate students from 43 states and 59 other
countries.
Faculty
All classes are taught by professors, not teaching
assistants; 92 percent of our full-time faculty
members have earned doctorates. The student
faculty ratio is 15:1 and the average class size is 21.
Calendar
Undergraduates follow a 4-1-4 calendar: two
semesters and an optional January Term. Students
may use J-Terms for honors study, study abroad, or
internships.
Activities
There are more than 150 student clubs, activities and
organizations at St. Thomas. An activities fair, held at
the beginning of each semester, introduces
students to the many opportunities at St. Thomas.
Athletics
St. Thomas offers 11 varsity (NCAA Division III) sports
for men and women:
• men’s and women’s basketball, cross-country, golf,
ice hockey, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis
and indoor and outdoor track and field
• men’s baseball and football
• women’s volleyball and softball
Club sports include alpine ski team, crew, dance,
lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee and men’s volleyball.
Intramural sports include badminton, basketball,
dodgeball, floor hockey, touch football, racquetball,
sand volleyball, soccer, tennis and volleyball.
