 Rule (βραβευετω brabeuetō: present imperative)
 Be judge, decide, control, rule (BDAG)
 “Put on”, v. 12, aorist imperative, priority, do it now and
complete
 “Rule”, present imperative, S.O.P. Do this all the time
 Peace of Christ judges, rather than other people, 2:18

7.  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which
indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Colossians 3:15
 … into which also you were called…
 You were called (καλεω kaleō, aorist)
 We are called to sanctification, 2 Thessalonians 2:13-15
 You were called “in one body”
 There is no longer a distinction among believers, 3:11

 … thankful be. (εὐχαριστοι γινεσθε eucharistoi

 This is a command
 Thanks, thanks, thanks, verses 15-17
