The document emphasizes that complete sanctification is possible through the blood of Christ and power of the Holy Spirit, but requires an ongoing choice by believers to read, comply with, and act
This document discusses the evangelical Christian worldview with a focus on redemption, church, and calling. It examines the basic doctrines of redemption including justification, propitiation, reconciliation, and regeneration. It defines the church as both the universal body of believers and the local congregation. The church's purpose is to spread the gospel message and various activities are discussed like worship, preaching, and sacraments. Finally, it addresses the Christian's calling to live for God's glory and serve others using their spiritual gifts within their vocations.
The document provides an overview of the nature and purpose of the church according to the Bible. It discusses how the church is described as the "called out" or "ecclesia" in the Greek, indicating those called by God. It is depicted as the "people of God" and the "body of Christ". The church's mission involves evangelism, edification of believers, worship, and social engagement. Unity is essential for the church to accomplish its mission, and Jesus prayed for the unity of believers. Achieving unity involves having harmony in feelings, thoughts, actions, and seeking the good of others over oneself.

The document is a sermon about the hymn "Shall We Gather at the River". It discusses:
1) The origins of the hymn and the story behind its creation by Dr. Lowry in 1864.
2) An analysis of the hymn lyrics and their depiction of the afterlife spent together at the River of Life.
3) Conditions for Christians to meet again at the River of Life after death, including dying as a true Christian, fixing one's mind on heavenly things, and remaining faithful to God until death.
The sermon emphasizes living faithfully as a Christian in order to join departed loved ones at the River of Life in the afterlife.
The document discusses the grace of God and not receiving it in vain. It references several recent deaths in the community. It then explains that the grace received is reconciliation with God through Christ's death. Receiving grace in vain would be putting oneself before God, failing as an ambassador for God, or allowing sin to dominate one's life again. To not receive grace in vain, one must sacrifice oneself for God, be a good ambassador for Christ, and live according to God's standards. The document encourages visitors to accept salvation today and examines whether one has received God's grace in vain.
This document discusses liars in the church. It defines a liar as someone who makes untrue statements with the intent to deceive or creates a false impression. The document then lists five types of liars: 1) those with lying tongues, 2) those who claim to love God but hate their brother, 3) those who claim to have fellowship with God but walk in darkness, 4) those who claim to know God but do not keep his commandments, and 5) those who say they have no sin. It emphasizes that God hates lying and that liars will have no place in eternity.
The document discusses tithing from a Christian perspective. It provides definitions of tithing in the Old Testament and examines the forms of giving and types of offerings. The key points are:
1) Tithing was a requirement for Israel under the Mosaic Law to support the Levite priesthood. It consisted of agricultural produce and livestock.
2) Under the Law, there were three types of tithes: one for the Levites, one for festivals, and every third year for the poor. The priests received a tithe of the tithe from the Levites.
3) The New Testament does not mandate tithing but teaches voluntary, generous giving from one's means to support gospel
This document discusses the topic of conflict from several perspectives. It begins by defining conflict and discussing images that come to mind when hearing the word. It then explores categories of conflict, causes and effects of conflict, and resolving conflict at different levels. The document also examines types of conflict including identity-based and resource-based, and provides biblical examples of conflicts. Guidelines are presented for resolving conflicts biblically and avoiding escalation.

The Book of Ruth is included in the third division, or the Writings, of the Hebrew Bible. In most Christian canons it is treated as one of the historical books and placed between Judges and 1 Samuel.
The Book of Samuel is a book in the Hebrew Bible, found as two books in the Old Testament. The book is part of the Deuteronomistic history, a series of books that constitute a theological history of the Israelites and that aim to explain God's law for Israel under the guidance of the prophets.

Trusting God's Providence | Verse: Romans 8: 28-31JL de Belen
Trusting God's Providence.
Providence - God’s active preservation and care over His creation. God is both the Creator and the Sustainer of all things Heb. 1:2-3; Col. 1:17
-God keep His promises.
-God’s general providence is toward all creation
- All things were made through Him
God’s special providence is toward His children.
We may suffer now, but joy can and will come
God can see what we cannot see

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
The Enchantment and Shadows_ Unveiling the Mysteries of Magic and Black Magic...Phoenix O
This manual will guide you through basic skills and tasks to help you get started with various aspects of Magic. Each section is designed to be easy to follow, with step-by-step instructions.
1. UNDERSTANDING
THE OLD AND THE NEW
TESTAMENT
2 Timothy 2: 15
By Tawiah Kofi (Evangelist)
Church of Christ-Osu
2. 2 Timothy 2: 15
Do your best
to present yourself to God as
one approved, a workman who
does not need to be ashamed
and who correctly handles the
word of
truth.
3. By reading the above text, we
can see that the Bible has to be
handled aright by rightly dividing
it.
This is one of the most
important subjects which can be
studied by a person wanting to
4. For example, God told Noah “Make
thee an ark of gopher wood” (Gen.
6: 14); the Israelites to march
around Jericho (Joshua 6)
If they had failed to do accordingly,
the success would have not come
–thus they “rightly divided the
truth”.
5. Too, may we observe that one of
the most fruitful causes of religious
confusion, as it exists in the world,
is a failure to rightly divide the word
of truth.
From these observations it can be
seen that this is indeed a very vital
study.
6. THE BIBLE HAS TWO GREAT
DIVISIONS
The Old Testament (2 Cor. 3:
14)
The New Testament (2 Cor. 3:
6)
7. THE TWO TESTAMENTS
CONTRASTED
The Old Testament
Called the old (1 Cor. 3: 14)
Called the first (Heb. 10: 9)
Was faulty (Heb. 8: 7)
Was glorious (2 Cor. 3: 7)
Given to the Jews (Deut. 5: 1-
15, cf Jer. 31: 31-32)
Contained shadows and types
Heb.10: 1; Col. 2: 14-17)
Had the Levitical priesthood
with such priests having
infirmities and dying (Heb. 7:
11-12, 18-19,23-27)
Offered animal sacrifices (Heb.
9:
18-22; 10: 1-4)
The New Testament
Called the New Testament
Called the second (Heb. 10:
9)
Is perfect (Jas. 1: 25)
Is more glorious (2 Cor. 3: 9,
11)
Is universal (Mt. 28: 18-20;
Eph. 2: 11-22)
Contains the real (Heb. 9: 24;
8:1-2 ; 10: 1-4;)
All Christians are priests,
with Christ as our High
Priest, being perfect and
continuing forever. (Rev. 1:
5,6; 1 Peter 2:9)
8. WE ARE NOT UNDER BOTH
TESTAMENTS
We are not under both
testaments. To attempt to be so is
to commit spiritual adultery.
(Rom. 7: 1-4).
Two laws with different
requirements cannot be binding
upon the same people at the
same time.
10. REASON FOR THIS AFFIRMATION
A study of the contrasts
between the two testament
surely proves we are not under
the Old Testament
Ro. 6:14 makes definite
statement “Ye are not under
the law”
We are dead to the law, Ro. 7:
1-4, 7
That written stones (old law,
Ex. 34: 29-35) is done away, 2
Cor. 3: 6-18
The handwriting of ordinance,
the law has been blotted out,
nailed to the cross, Col. 2:14-
17
The priesthood having been
changed, a change of the law
was also necessary -Heb. 7:
12, 14; Jer. 31: 31-34 cf. Heb.
The law was our schoolmaster
till faith came (Gal. 4: 21-31 cf.
Gal. 3: 26,
To seek to be justified by it is to
fall from grace, Gal. 5: 4.
Christ is the end of the law –
Rom 10: 4
However, there is profit in
studying the Old Testament
(Rom. 15: 4; 1 Cor. 10: 5-11).
NB: Since the Old Testament has
been abrogated, we must not
look to it to find the answer to
the question “What must I do to
be saved?”
We must not look to the Old
Testament for the authority of
our religious practices in
worship etc.
12. REASONS FOR THIS AFFIRMATION
We are ministers of the New Testament
(2 Cor. 3:4-6)
We are under the law of Christ (1 Cor. 9:
21)
We are to hear Christ, God’s prophet,
rather than Moses (Mt. 17: 5 cf. Deut. 18:
15-19, Acts 3: 22-23, Heb. 1: 1-3
Christ’s testament became operational
after His death (Heb. 9: 15-17)
13. Let us “handle aright the word of
truth” by ‘rightly dividing” it
(Jas. 2: 12; Jn. 12: 48; 2 Jn. 9)
