This document outlines the objectives and structure of a foreign language course for students majoring in ship construction and ship machinery design. The objectives are to develop communicative ability in situational and professional contexts in both written and oral forms. The course covers topics like everyday life, leisure activities, travel, and literature over two terms through 10 modules. Students will learn to communicate on everyday topics, write personal emails, and speak about daily activities. Classes are held in equipped classrooms and students are assessed through competency demonstrations and module tests. The course is taught by qualified English teachers from the college.
