In a large city, a honest trader named Aowad left a kilogram of steel with his friend Gawhar to keep while he traveled to a far city to trade. However, Aowad's trip took longer than expected. Needing money, Gawhar lied to Aowad saying rats ate the steel after selling it for a large profit. When Aowad returned, he tricked Gawhar into admitting the lie by hiding Gawhar's cow during the night. Gawhar confessed and repaid Aowad for the steel, saying he needed the money to support his family.

A mouse saw a farmer and his wife open a package and feared it contained a mousetrap. When he discovered it was indeed a mousetrap, he warned the other barnyard animals but they dismissed his concerns. That night, the trap caught a venomous snake whose bite gave the farmer's wife a fever. To treat her, the farmer killed the chicken, pig, and cow to feed visitors and for funeral meals, leaving the mouse alone in realizing how the animals' dismissals impacted them all.
The turtle, squirrel, crow and deer lived happily together in a forest, playing and eating. One day, the deer got caught in the hunter's trap and couldn't escape. The crow went to search for the problem and saw the trapped deer. The three friends then worked together to save the deer - the squirrel cut the net and the deer escaped. When the hunter saw this, he captured the turtle, thinking she cut the net. However, with a clever plan and cooperation, the friends tricked the hunter and saved the turtle, living happily together again in the forest.

The ant worked hard all summer collecting food and storing it, preparing for winter. The grasshopper played music and enjoyed the nice weather, not preparing at all. When winter came, the grasshopper had no food and came to the ant for help. However, the ant refused, reminding the grasshopper that it did not prepare like the ant did during the summer. The grasshopper had to face the winter with no food or shelter.
