The document describes a teacher working with their class to develop a customized curriculum for the next three weeks. They began by having students identify what they wanted to learn. They then looked at the coursebook to identify relevant units and created a weekly plan with goals. This plan is displayed for students and remains flexible. Activities like a lavender farm tour are used to motivate students to practice language skills in real-world contexts. Progress checks and sharing the plan with a substitute teacher help ensure goals are met while the teacher is away.

It provides examples of common verbs that take infinitives like "want" and "expect" as well as verbs that take "-ing" forms like "give up" and "enjoy". The Aral Sea has significantly decreased in size since 1960. Between 1960 and 1985, the sea's area decreased by approximately 60% and its volume declined by about 50%. From 1985 to 1998, the sea continued to shrink substantially. By 2010, the Aral Sea's area, volume, and average depth had each declined by over 60% from 1960 levels, leaving the sea only 10% of its original size.
The Aral Sea disaster was caused by the Soviet government's decision in the 1960s to divert the rivers feeding the Aral Sea to irrigate cotton fields. This caused the Aral Sea to rapidly shrink and become saline. Over 60,000 fishermen lost their jobs as the fishing industry collapsed without water. Today the Aral Sea is only 15% of its original size and pollution from its dried seabed is causing health problems in the region. The cotton farming is also failing as the irrigation water brings salts that kill the crops. This environmental disaster could have been avoided if the planners had considered the effects on the Aral Sea.
This document provides a summary of an integrated learning model for a 10th grade English unit about the Aral Sea disaster. The unit goals are to focus on water and environmental changes, study and practice new vocabulary, use perfect modal verbs and conditionals, write about changes in the Aral Sea using figures, practice verbs followed by gerunds or infinitives, and focus on environmental protection. A variety of activities and assessments are outlined to meet these goals over several class periods using resources like PowerPoint, dictionaries and the internet.
San Francisco is located on the west coast of the United States. The city is surrounded by water on three sides by the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. It provides questions to help students learn more about the geography, population growth, and famous landmarks of San Francisco like Alcatraz prison and Hyde Street.
This document provides information on past tense verbs in English. It discusses the simple past tense and past continuous tense, including their forms, examples of use, and when each is used. For the simple past, it covers regular and irregular verbs. It notes that simple past is used with time expressions like "yesterday" or "last week" or in if clauses. Past continuous is used with expressions like "while" or "from...to" and can indicate an action ongoing in the past. An exercise is provided asking to fill in blanks with simple past or past continuous verb forms.
This document provides instruction on using different words to agree with statements:
- "Too" and "either" are used at the end of sentences to agree with positive and negative statements respectively.
- "So" and "nor" are also used to agree with previous statements, with "so" following positive statements and "nor" following negative ones.
- Examples are given of how to use each of these words correctly in different sentence constructions. Exercises are then provided to practice agreeing with statements using these words.

This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
