Key Experience:
 More than 30 years in Oil & Gas (Offshore, Onshore, FPSO, Refinery) and Power
Industry in pipe stress engineering.
 Worked in USA, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
 Worked on major projects such as Hebron for Exxon Mobil and North Rankine 2, LNG
Train 4 and Enfield FPSO for Woodside Petroleum as a pipe stress lead engineer.
 Worked on several brownfield projects
o Esso Australia’s Longford and Long Island Point Projects from June 1998 – June
2001. Member of Longford Restoration Team that was formed after the incident in
the Longford Gas Plant in September1998.
o Hydrogen Transfer Line for KNPC from June 2001 – December 2001.
o Member of asset services team in BP Kwinana Refinery in Western Australia from
January 2005 to April 2007.
o Member of asset services team for Woodside Karratha Gas Plants from August
2010 to February 2011.
o Currently working on Maersk Oil Qatar (MOQ) Design Engineering Services
Contract (DESC) from January 2015.
 Provided site construction support answering technical queries and field trouble
reports for LNG Train 4 construction in Karratha from December 2002 to April 2004.
Expertise:
o Static Stress Analysis: aboveground and buried piping; cryogenic piping; offshore
bridge and Christmas tree piping; FPSO piping; large gas compressor, heat exchanger,
column and pulsating pump piping; flare blowdown system; non-metallicpiping;
evaluation of piping for operation below MDMT without impact testing.
o Dynamic Stress Analysis: Modal, Time History and Response Spectrum analysis;
resolution of field vibrational problems.
o Fatigue Evaluation, Vibration risk assessments using Pressure Vessel Code PD5500 and
Energy Institute Guidelines.

o Pipe Supporting: Selection and detail design of pipe supports for onshore and offshore
plants.
o Equipment: nozzle load evaluation using WRC 107/297 and NozzlePro software;
knowledgeable of pressure vessel and heat exchanger design.
o Finite Element Analysis: working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis; worked as a
Finite Element Analyst early in career.
o GRP Piping Stress Analysis: expert in GRE piping; worked closely with Ameron and
Fiberbond on manufacture, testing, qualification and fabrication of GRP piping.
