Srijan is a platform for exploring the software development skills and aptitude of the students in the field of information technology. It enhances IT awareness among the students in the world of information technology.

1. 9th National Inter-Institute Software Contest Organized by Prestige Institute of Management & Research in collaboration with ISTE

2. It gives us immense pleasure to announce the Ninth PIMR National Inter-institute Software Contest on September 24th , 2011. Events : Software Development Contest Software Quiz Contest

3. What is SRIJAN ? Srijan is a platform for exploring the software development skills and aptitude of the students in the field of information technology. This contest simulate the creativity and enhance IT awareness among the students, keeping them abreast of the latest developments in the world of information technology

4. Rules for Software development contest The project can be either a system software or an application software The summary of the project covering introduction, rationale objectives, hardware and software requirements alongwith the instructions for installation and execution of the software should be mailed to the coordinator alongwith the registration form. The project will be scrutinized first for eligibility. Selected team will be informed by mail to the head of the institute till August 30, 2011. Registration fee will not be refunded in-case teams are not selected. Short listed team will be called for presentation on September 24, 2011.

5. Continued …. Each team is required to make presentation for 15 minutes covering introduction and live demonstration of the project followed by the open house interaction. Each team should preferably bring their own laptop for the presentation. The number of students in each team should not exceed four. The decision of the judges will be final.

6. General Instructions The contest is open for students of the professional program like MCA, MBA, BCA, BBA, BE or equivalent. The registration fee for software development contest is Rs.600 per team (nonrefundable) and registration fee for software quiz contest is Rs.300 per team (nonrefundable) should be sent by demand draft in favour of Prestige Institute of Management and Research payable at Indore. Incomplete forms in any case will not be accepted. Last date of submission of registration form is 25th August ,2011 Registration forms must be attested by the respective institutes’ authority/principal/director/dean /registrar. Photocopies of registration forms can be used for multiple entries. Students can participate in both the events. The participation certificate for each contest will be awarded to all the contestants. Prizes will be awarded to the Winners and runners-up on the same day. Participants are requested to report at the reception counter 15 minutes prior to the reporting time.
