Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is an automated telephony system that interacts with callers, gathers information and routes calls to the appropriate recipient. An IVR system (IVRS) accepts a combination of voice telephone input and touch-tone keypad selection and provides appropriate responses in the form of voice, fax, callback, e-mail and perhaps other media.
An IVR system consists of telephony equipment, software applications, a database and a supporting infrastructure. Common IVR applications include:
Bank and stock account balances and transfers
Surveys and polls
Office call routing
Call center forwarding
Simple order entry transactions
Selective information lookup (movie schedules, etc.)
An IVR application provides pre-recorded voice responses for appropriate situations, keypad signal logic, access to relevant data and, potentially, the ability to record voice input for later handling. Using computer telephony integration (CTI), IVR applications can hand off a call to a human being who can view data related to the caller at a display.

The ML-CSA 3550 UL 3G Cell Signal Amplifier boosts uplink and downlink cell signal strength by up to 15dB. It features patented passive bypass technology that ensures the connected device stays online even if the amplifier loses power or goes into standby mode. It is FCC and Industry Canada certified and carrier approved. The amplifier is also UL 1610 listed, making it suitable for use in wireless burglar alarm installations.
Multi-Link’s Cell Signal Amplifier connects directly to any M2M enabled cellular application or cellular device and provides up to 15dB gain in uplink signal strength (e.g. a router, modem, module, or gateway).
The ML-CSA 3500 3G Cell Signal Amplifier is superior to other cell amplifiers & hi-gain antennas:
Passive Bypass Technology is a fail-safe feature that is designed to allow the cell signal amplifier to bypass itself during loss of power, when a fault is detected, or when amplification is not needed. NO other device has this feature and it’s vital for applications that are mission-critical for safety, security & liability reasons, e.g. Fire & Security Alarms and Patient Monitoring.
Auto Gain & Oscillation Control will automatically adjust the gain and output power to provide signal consistency if a signal anomaly occurs and to prevent interference with the Carrier’s network. If amplification is not needed, the booster goes into Passive Bypass Mode.
Variable Input Power Ranges: +8.0 to 36.0 VDC which is beneficial for applications with a variety of power requirements.
FCC & IC Certified and Carrier Pre-Approved
Powertxt Duo allows quick and easy remote power control of two connected devices through the 3G GSM (mobile) network. Commands are sent via SMS messaging and can
be used to control one or both power outlets in tandem or individually. Powertxt Duo will also send instant SMS alerts when on-site power has been lost or restored, so technicians can respond accordingly --- saving labor, money, and downtime.
The ZipLink-X200 is a ruggedized 200Mbps wireless Ethernet extender that can transmit Ethernet signals up to 3 miles line-of-sight. It provides a fast and affordable alternative to trenching cables through difficult terrain. The complete system is housed in a weatherproof enclosure and can be installed in under 2 hours, saving money compared to the cost of trenching. It uses 256-bit AES encryption and operates in temperatures from -40°F to 145°F, making it suitable for both temporary and permanent installations.
Multi-Link, Inc. is a Kentucky-based manufacturer founded in 1987 that specializes in telecommunications devices such as Telephone Line Sharing Switches, Remote AC Power Controllers, and wireless POTS & Ethernet Extenders under 1 mile called "Last Mile" connectivity. Their ZipLink Series provides wireless phone and Ethernet connections through an encrypted radio signal as an alternative to trenching cables.
The ZipLink-E is a wireless Ethernet extender that can transmit 40 Mbps of data up to one mile, providing a fast and affordable alternative to trenching cables. It has a ruggedized outdoor enclosure and 256-bit AES encryption. Applications include VoIP connectivity, fuel tank monitoring, utility substations, and temporary jobsites like construction sites.
Multi-Link Presentation for ZipLink SeriesScott Shelton
The ZipLink is a wireless phone line and Ethernet extender that can provide connectivity for phones and internet up to one mile without the need for trenching. It uses a 5.8GHz encrypted radio signal in an outdoor enclosure to connect remote structures to the main office. The ZipLink avoids the high costs and delays of trenching and can support applications like security, monitoring, VoIP phones and more for businesses, utilities, and temporary job sites. It provides a fast and affordable alternative to traditional wiring methods.
Don't Trench it, ZIP it! Don't let "Last Mile" obstacles derail your installation projects…Avoid trenching to hard to reach remote sites with the ZipLink 5.8GHz Ethernet Radio, a wireless Phone Line AND Ethernet Extender from Multi-Link.
The ACP 2.0 is a state-of-the art “Out of Band” Network Switch, Telephony Firewall, and telephone line sharing device….three solutions in one for remote network support.
Protecting access to information systems is becoming more critical in commercial and industrial applications, as are reliable, secure, and redundant communication paths. The ACP 2.0 provides these capabilities, while providing cost savings through phone line consolidation (line-sharing). Incoming calls are answered, screened, and automatically routed to phones, a fax machine, remote service ports, or remote information systems. Inbound and outbound calls are transparent.
The ZipLink wireless system from Multi-Link provides an affordable alternative to costly trenching by allowing phone, fax, modem, and Ethernet connections to be installed wirelessly between buildings up to one mile apart. Trenching jobs often cost thousands of dollars to start and hundreds per hour, whereas the ZipLink can be installed by one person in a couple hours. It eliminates the need for permits and approvals required for trenching. The ZipLink is a suitable solution for adding services to remote buildings, setting up temporary work sites, or any situation where traditional wiring is not practical.
Multi-Link application note~ ISM band 12- 2012Scott Shelton
The purpose of this document is to provide some basic technical background on how equipment designed for the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ISM bands works. The Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) radio bands are radio bands (portions of the radio spectrum) reserved internationally for the use of radio frequency energy for industrial, scientific and medical purposes other than communications. Despite the intent of the original allocation, in recent years the fastest-growing uses of these bands have been for short-range, low power communications systems. Cordless phones, Bluetooth devices, NFC devices, and wireless computer networks all use the ISM bands.
Additionally, we will discuss key technical considerations that customers may need to be aware of when implementing equipment in these bands, and how Multi-Link design engineers have worked to improve reliability and security of our products in these bands, as well as co-existence with other equipment that may be in the area.
The IP4000 is an affordable and cost effective way to solve problems from the operations center, or even from a Smartphone. The primary feature of the device allows remote power control to two AC devices using either a web browser or MSN messenger. This device is a perfect tool for IT personnel supporting routers and network equipment in remote sites. The IP4000 provides the ability to either manually control power remotely over the internet, OR automatically by an internet monitoring feature that pings up to six IP addresses.
