In the stove installation example shown in Fig. 1, if dimension B is observed and dimension E measured on site is less than the value indicated, then it is not necessary to allow for the
radiant area with respect to the side walls. However, if the side wall is longer than dimension E, it must be decided on site whether this wall needs to be protected. The position of the
radiant area can be altered if necessary by increasing dimension A or dimension B.
