Many theologians and spiritual thinkers often think mystical or spiritual experiences have no place in the "real world" and those who are spiritual
should only think of it as a private matter. This is a common thought in many religious experiences; the experiences of God should have in no way an
interference with the regular, day–to–day life. However, many mystics see mysticism in the exact opposite light; they see spiritual experiences of God

Spanish And The Spanish Language Essay
Spanish is one of the most popular spoken languages around the world. In the U.S Spanish is the second most spoken language other than English
and it's the most popular foreign language learned in US secondary schools (Zentella, 182). From past experience a lot of jobs require knowing a
second language and most often the two languages preferred are Spanish and English. One of the reasons this may be is because of the abundant
Spanish speakers in the U.S and it's most likely why Spanish is most commonly studied in schools. The Spanish language first came about in the fifth
century on the Iberian Peninsula, which is in the Southwest region of Europe. In 19 B.C. the Iberian Peninsula became known as Hispania after the
Romans took over. From that a language called Vulgar Latin originated. In Hispania two main dialects also arose, Castilian and Andalusian. In the
U.S, specifically the Northeast and Southwest other dialects of Spanish are also common(F&R chapter 10 and 11). The Spanish language has existed
in the U.S for centuries. The first occurrence of Spanish was in Florida in 1513 and it is said to brough by Juan Ponce de Leon, a Spanish
conquistador (Silver–Corvalan, 207). The Southwest became a part of the Spanish colonies in the sixteenth century, first in New Mexico in 1598, and
in Texas in 1659 (Silver–Corvalan, 207). When discussing the Southwest part of the U.S we're referring to the following five states, New Mexico,
Texas, California, Arizona, and Colorado. In

For the past school year, every 11:11 when the bell rings, I would make a wish for something terrible to happen. That I would get sick, fall off
something, or get called to the office. I would walk from my fourth–period class to my fifth, butterflies forming in my stomach. I often dread the
forty–one minutes that I would have to endure every week in Spanish III. Taking my third year of Spanish was at first a challenge, but I later overcame
my fears of studying the language.
Before I started high school, I always had a fascination for the Spanish language. My family encouraged me to pursue learning French, but I decided
to not take that route. I have been taking Spanish since the tender age of twelve, and five years later, I am still speaking the language. As expected,
the more advanced my grade level will be the more advanced the language is going to get. I have gone up from beginner Spanish to Spanish I, II,
and III. I would say I am a good Spanish speaker but with all languages, you need to put the time to commit yourself to learning it. Spanish has a
bunch of rules that at first confused me. I would spend late nights flipping through notes and textbooks or surf the web in search any help. I am
aware that Spanish is a language which needs a lot of practice, which is something I wish I would have known sooner. But despite that, I have
received a lot of help which could not make me feel any less proud.
