West Hill Primary School in London underwent a construction project to transform an underutilized hall space into a central hub for personalized learning. The project cost £120,000 and was completed in October 2009. The new space aims to accommodate collaborative and individual learning through various zones, including areas for small group work, large groups, independent work, and making activities. The design process considered input from stakeholders on providing opportunities for students to work in different ways and learn through discussion, debate, reflection, and hands-on projects.
