This document is a sound design storyboard for an FIFA 17 trailer. It includes screenshots from the trailer along with proposed sound effects, music, and dialogue for each scene. Scenes include the FIFA and Xbox logos, footage of players in locker rooms and on the stadium field, transitions between real players and their in-game characters, and a player scoring a goal. For each scene, the storyboard lists the proposed sound effects, music, and/or dialogue, as well as the duration of the scene. The storyboard contains details to elevate the feelings of the players and supporters and sell the transition between real and virtual gameplay.

Edit: The scene will be the beginning of every trailer,
the game is sponsored by Xbox mainly so it will
show how marketing worked its way around. There
will be sound from the logo to the main screen, the
logo zooms in to cover the full screen and the video
clip comes out of the middle where the “X” is.

new trailer

Edit: This scene will be presented as well after
every trailer ends. It shows the starter of this
game therefore it’s an important clip. Sound for
this clip will be very import as well it will be
presenting the setting for the image.
Dur: 5 sec, every beginning of a
new trailer
Music playing, Ref Whistle, and
fans cheering
Edit: In this scene there are going to be frames
of football players in their locker rooms. with the
fans cheering for their player. It won’t be very
loud but you will fell it. The scenes will glitch
throw each other.
Dur: 5-7 Sec
Laud audiences, very low and
also filtered out. Eco added for
space
Edit: This scene is very special, its showing how
the fans will look and also how the stadium will
be for this specific team. It uses sound to
elevate the filing of the footballers and most
importantly to support them.
Dur: 5 Sec. Loud audiences,
eco and music playing behind.

model that the game has. It’s a seamless
transition, which brings the game to life. This
effect has been done multiple of time within the
trailer

cheering and also mumble of
the player. Because the
camera is up close.
Edit: This is the following scene. The player
continues playing and score a goal. There
celebrate showing there is updated ways to play
the game.

There will be mixed VFX that
sells the felling that the player
transitions onto a stadium from
FIFA training studio.
