PROBLEMS
These problems are to be solved using equations.
1.The sum of three consecutive numbers is 24. What is the greatest of these numbers?
2.There are twenty-three people in a café. How many women are in the café if there
are seven more men than women?
3.A box of cherries weighs one kilo more than a box of strawberries. Together, three
boxes of strawberries and two boxes of cherries weigh twelve kilos. How much does
the box of strawberries weigh?
AND, AFTER SOLVING THE PROBLEMS....
Once you solved the problems, write down the three solutions.
Then take the three numbers composing the three solutions in the following order:
a prime number – a multiple of three – a cube
The three solutions in this order will give you the combination to open the suitcase!
