This was my own business, teaching antenatal and postnatal courses. I also managed
freelance teachers who gained clients through my business, which promoted their services
on and offline. My role covered:
• Creative input in the design of and maintaining a WordPress website.
• Creating and distributing promotional materials and marketing the business locally and
online.
• Managing social media - creating a Facebook profile and Twitter account and updating
these on a daily basis; sourcing relevant information and linking in with other similar
practitioners to gain new business and information.

Coordinated 70 physical activity and exercise classes per week based in Community and
Healthcare settings. I supported a team of 8 and acted PA to the Sports Development
Manager. My varied role included:
• Composition (using Quark Express and Word), print and dissemination of all promotional
materials locally and nationally generating target mailing lists.
• Recruiting and managing 35 fitness instructors and an Admin Assistant.
• Finding and recruiting volunteers.
• Liaising with venues, teachers and participants to ensure smooth-running of each class by

Personal
With 4 sons (Oli 9, Milo 6 and twins Ru & Beau 2), a husband and a dog to keep me busy,
there is currently little time left to pursue my personal interests. However, I am often found
singing along to the radio and am always the first to offer advice when someone else is
going to have a baby! I love Music, long country walks with my dog Toto, and
discovering great pubs with fabulous food and a good wine selection. I also love to
practice Mindfulness whenever I have a rare moment of peace and quiet;-)
