2. The original length of the song Brennesteinn is
7:41, which is too long given the time we have to
produce a music video. A solution we found to this
problem was to shorten the song from 7:41 to 5:03.
We used Cubase 6 to shorten
the song.
One problem with this was cutting off the last 2 ½
minutes was that the song felt like it cut off too
suddenly and didn't’t sound right at all. I fixed this by
slightly fading out the song before it cuts off and
added a reverberation echo effect to the end so
that it drags out a bit.
