It is fostered by advances in technology, political and economic developments. Positive impacts include faster communication and access to information as well as foreign products and ideas, while negative impacts are pollution, widening income gaps, and loss of local culture. Foreign companies establish in Indonesia due to its natural resources, strategic location, large population, and welcoming of foreign investment. Domestic companies are registered in their home country while foreign companies register abroad. To address globalization, people should be open-minded, selective of foreign cultures, work harder to compete globally, be creative, and stay alert to technological change. Foreign companies in Indonesia accelerate technology transfer
