This document summarizes the results of the Social Progress Index (SPI) for various administrative regions in Rio de Janeiro. It finds that the dimension of basic human needs has the highest score of 75.09. Access to basic knowledge and ecosystem sustainability can be improved, scoring 49.96 and 50.26 respectively. Tolerance and inclusion has a relatively good score of 65.71 while access to advanced education has the lowest component score of 32.36.
