Hugman's statement that concern with ethics and codes of ethics has been at the core of developing caring professions is examined. The student is asked to agree or disagree with this statement, considering how social work and community work address ethics in policies and practices. The student is also asked to reflect on learning about social professions and their relationship to social policy from preparing and delivering a group presentation, including any personal learning from working collaboratively.
