the violent crime rate per 100,000: was 380.0 for 2012, and in 2013 was 357.9 that there was an

that it has dropped because of proactive arrests, faster responses to 911 calls, higher number of

In conclusion, the potato cube with the highest surface area to volume ratio (the 1x1x1 cube) had
the fastest rate of diffusion as it had the largest percentage increase in mass. While all the other

Sir Winston Churchill is my favorite speaker of all times. He was a very prepared, confident and
studied journalist, historian, artist, writer, (he won a Nobel Prize in Literature), an Officer of the
UK army, a statesman and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Even though I did not live through World War II nor am I British, listening to his speeches on
YouTube really gives me the chills. I can easily realize why he was one of the most influential
leaders during the War while being the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. His power to
unite and motivate his people was amazing; many have ever since followed his speaking
techniques. He literally led his country from the brink of defeat to victory with innate leadership
abilities. He was a great strategist as well, the alliance he began with President Franklin Delano
Roosevelt and General Secretary Joseph Stalin was key for the imminent defeat of the Axis
countries. I firmly believe that for this reasons Sir Winston Churchill was one of the most if not the
most important key characters in the World War II. I chose this speech because, it effectively

The splitting of products into two genders stemmed from fiscally conscious businesses; those who
had two products to sell to different people made more money than those who sold only gender
neutral clothing, razors, and drinks. In modern times, almost everything in the media and in
advertisements is biased based on gender. Ads for fragrance are no longer equitable; they are for
cologne and perfume separately. As the businesses made money, a latent consequence arose.
Those who grew in the days of binary gender products and segregated items became socialized to

without any rhyme pattern. A short, descriptive poem consisting of two equal stanzas, Complete

My field placement this year is with Careers in Transition (CIT) in the Lives in Transition (LIT)
program. LIT is a career orientated program aimed towards women who have experienced
domestic and/or family violence at some point in their lives which has, in most cases, resulted in
some form of oppression in their journey towards self sufficiency.
The primary objective of LIT is to help clients achieve gainful employment, and the program itself is
divided into 3 components. The first component is a counseling and information component that
gives an introduction to what domestic and family violence is, further delving into the feelings and
psychological effects that it has had on clients. In this component, clients get to explore and share
their own experiences and struggles in a safe environment alongside peers who can relate with a
qualified professional to facilitate this. The second component is a life skills and academic
component. During this stage of the program, clients are taught practical skills and how to apply
them in their everyday life, for example, math is introduced in the form of budgeting and balancing
monthly income with outflow of expenses. Parenting skills, prioritizing and time management
skills, nutrition and grocery shopping are some of the other things that are touched on, to name a

While I was there I was able to take a tour of the whole building. Once you walked in the front
door you where greeted by beautiful stained glass windows. To the left there is a door that lead
to the synagogue itself. Upon walking in I loved an aisle lined with rows of chairs. The aisle let to
