6. - The first outbreak of COVID-19 occurred in Wuhan, China
Province in early Dec 2019 & we know that China is the
biggest manufacture of everything, how this virus could be
small.
- On 30th January 2020, the World Health Organization
(WHO) declared an outbreak, a Public Health Emergency of

- On 31st March, a Tablighi Jamaat religious congregation event in Delhi,
emerged as a super spreader event for India.
- Due to this lock down, mobility in grocery and pharmacy, recreation and
retail, transit to station visits to parks, and workplaces reduced by 64.2%,
70.51%, 65.6%, 46.17 and 60.03% respectively.
- In April 2020, the monthly all-India unemployment rate hit a high of
23.5%, according to CMIE.
- On 12th May 2020, the mega Rs 20 Lakh Crore stimulus package was
announced & this package has been used effectively as can be seen from the
