• I became more comfortable using social media
and found out how useful it can be to me
professionally.
• By using social media, I have a ton of resources
to use this school year.
• I was always curious as to what twitter was
about and now I have a twitter account. Also, I
learned how to use TinyURL.

• I have boards set up and organized on
pinterest.
• I know how to make short videos with music
on animoto. I am excited about using this tool
for school.
• I have all my favorite articles, website
resources, and videos saved in one spot by
using delicious.

6. Challenges…
• I think the overall challenge for me was
understanding what a PLN was and then
grasping the concept of it. I had no idea of the
many ways that people are connected through
technology.
• I think starting twitter was challenging. It is
very useful but it took me time to feel
comfortable using it. However, the video for
this class did help explain it.

7. Feelings About MOODLE and
On-line Learning
• It is well organized and so easy to go through the section/topics.
• Feedback for your assignments is given right away.
• The flexibility of choosing when to do the sections/topic is very
convenient. It works with my schedule. I like that you have access
to work on the course anytime of the day.
• The material that I have covered in on-line learning has been
relevant to my field and is helping me grow as a school counselor.
I have gotten so many new ideas through them.
• This has been my third on-line learning class and all three were
positive experiences.
