Behavior Change Reflection
I thoroughly enjoyed the behavior change program. I started this program thinking one way
about yoga and left with a completely different point of view. I now have a new work out that I
love doing and will continue to do well into the future. For my weekly goals, I did meet them
most weeks however, there were some weeks where I felt I did not reach the goal I set for
myself. That was to be expected so it never derailed my motivation when I came up short on my
goals. I did meet all of my long term goal. In the end I gained more flexibility while still
improving my strength and maintain my body composition. I also found a workout that I enjoy
doing which distresses and relaxes me.
The only change that needs to be made to continue my progress is that I need to devote more time
to working on my flexibility, even more than I already do. Whenever I have free time I should
spend 15 20 minutes working on my flexibility so that I can eventually get to where I want to be.
Before, once I finished my yoga workouts for the week is was sometimes hard to find the
motivation to work on my flexibility during my down time. That is now something I would like to
change.

The Pretenders Chuck Klosterman Summary
In The Pretenders by Chuck Klosterman and The Comeback Of Axl Rose by John Sullivan, you
can see where the pieces are similar and where they differ. The tones throughout them are almost
the same, they both talk about their subjects with humor and rarely stray away from it. Neither of
them were afraid to make fun of Axl Roseand his tribute band, and they make that well known in
their writing. However, their pieces differ from each other because Klosterman and Sullivan have
completely different writing styles. While reading Klosterman s pieceI noticed he had a very
simple way of writing, he uses words that are easy to understand and to the point sentences. That
was refreshing after reading Sullivan s complex style; I get lost while reading his writing
sometimes, especially if I have to pull out a dictionary.
In The Pretenders we see that Klosterman uses a humorous tone on every page. He starts off by
telling us about Trask dying his hair pink and the band getting banned for life from the Econo
Lodge. He is making fun of the tribute band and their obsession with being exactly like Guns N
Roses. His tone remains humorous as he tells us how ridiculous it is for them to fire the most
talented person in their band because he doesn t resemble Slash enough. Klosterman really wants
us to know how crazy and somewhat stupid these guys are. He also tells us about how they lost
their tour bus one summer; you can almost sense that he is thinking: Are these guys really this
stupid?

articles was conducted to discover information about the process of Design Thinking. To ensure

Thinking were used before entering it on the search engines. The purpose of this is to ensure

It was a queer, sultry summer, the summer three teenage girls went missing in the quiet town of
Maysville. This was the uttermost significant news the town ever received since a small scale
fire in 1978. This news had the whole town wondering who would make a decision like this.
There were no unusual suspects that would do such an occurrence like this. The parents had
every police officer and sheriff looking for their children. The girls who went missing were not
out of the ordinary children. They were all sophisticated and mature young ladies (in public).
They never provoked anyone or caused any drama with anyone. They were friends with everyone
and were very well known for their friendly deeds. This is why the whole town was so shaken
when they went missing, but little did they know about their private lives. The first girl, Brooke
Saldivar, was a girl you would think who would never do anything terrible. Brooke was from one

Bullying: More Than Just Taking Someone s Lunch Money Society tends to have a set definition
of what normal means as well as how people should behave. The view a population has on
normality is an outcome of culture, individuals, and the environment that surrounds it. A person is
raised to regard behavior in a certain way, which tends to result in them having a fixed opinion of
what is acceptable. An issue of this phenomenon arises when people cannot endure others having a
different standpoint on what is customary. It causes individuals to argue and leads to the inferior

There is always that one thing, be it small or large, that separates a person from the crowd. In
Kenji Yoshino s The New Civil Rights he supports this idea, claiming that in our increasingly
diverse society all of us are outside the mainstream in some way (552). People are bound to be
different, as they each have their own experiences that molds their personality. Therefore, it is
impossible for everyone to be normal if a population is filled with unique individuals with various
characteristics, yet, society seems to always find a way to define normality and set the standard. It
decides which traits are unique, eccentric, or quirky, and which are strictly abnormal, and therefore
shunned. When this occurs, other members of the community have little problems ensuring the
different individual knows they do not fit in. People do this because they do not take to time to
understand individuals who are labeled abnormal. It is a result of their own laziness and lack of
desire to be educated about them; they decide automatically that those human beings are deemed
less without getting a chance to know them. This phenomenon occurs frequently with the LGBTQ
community. The population decides that not being heterosexual or cisgender is grounds for bullying,
and that being part of that faction is too different to be a part of their society.This ignorance blinds
them from widening their definition of normality and expanding their views. People have to be
better educated to have more accepting views as it not only limits themselves, but also harms
individuals around

Say you were to find a time capsule from the 1980s. You find inside an 8 Track tape of Bruce
Springsteen s The River released in 1980. What do you think of this? Do you overlook the
meaning and see it as a representation of the type of music played in the 80s, Pop/Rock? Or
maybe you see a significance that reaches far beyond just a type of music. Maybe you notice that
this 8 Track represents not only music, but also innovation at the time. You look at it and realize
that back then, people had to listen to these tapes through an audio cassette player. They also had
to personally go out and buy the tape from a music store because there were no iPods with internet
access to millions of albums. You think about The E Street Band in the studio playing their
instruments to record the background music into microphones. You think about how much work
had to go into making this small, low quality 8 Track. You realize how much manual labor actually
meant at the time. Also how far technology has come. This shows how an object can have many
different ways of representing a culture or time period.
