Social media platforms provide an advantage for online retailers to recruit customers by allowing users to easily share products and deals with friends. However, brick-and-mortar retailers have not been able to leverage this same capability for in-store customers. Tag'by's social marketing platform aims to help physical retailers connect with in-store visitors on social media to turn them into brand ambassadors and recruit new customers through their social networks. The platform would allow retailers to provide incentives for customers to check-in or share their in-store experience online in order to organically reach more potential customers. This could enhance the shopping experience, improve loyalty programs, and provide a new channel for social customer recruitment.
