Rheumatoid arthritis.

A Brief Project Description:
In silico analysis of nucleotide sequences of Rheumatoid Arthritis is a
computer program designed specifically for modeling the antibody generation
process and analyzing the constituent germline genes of a human heavy chain
mature variable region sequence. Motivation for the project is to develop a software

3. tool which can characterize and analyze the disease and the results obtained may
assist the doctors for improved diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of the disease.
I have developed an alignment program that uses HMM to model the
processes involved in human IGH gene rearrangement and maturation. In Silico
analysis of nucleotide sequences of RA was implemented in the Java language,
using the BioJava API’s, and has been successfully run under Microsoft Windows.
The program is accessed by the user through a graphical user interface which
communicates with the business logic layer for processing align and analyze task.

Project Title : Volume Visualization in medical Imaging
Total Project Duration : 8 months.
A Brief Project Description:
Developed a volume visualization system that could provide a comprehensive 3D
image, given an input of several 2D cross sectional slices. Once the data contained
in these 2D images are synthesized on a 3D image, it would be easy for a surgeon
to recognize any malformation and plan the corrective action required.

Project Title : Galvanic Skin Response Monitoring
Total Project Duration : 4 months.
A Brief Project Description:
The project is intended to monitor skin resistance as a measure of how tense the
subject is, which makes it possible to recognize and to learn how to reduce the
tension level. The ultimate goal is to discover and handle suppressed or repressed
thoughts, memories and impressions, which impart upon one’s behavior and the
feeling of well-being.
