Walt Disney created several attractions for the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair as a way to explore new ideas with corporate sponsorship. One of the most popular exhibits was "It's a Small World", sponsored by Pepsi-Cola. Originally called "Children of the World", it featured over 300 singing animatronic dolls from around the world on a boat ride. Though rushed to complete in only 6 months, it was hugely successful at the fair. The ride was then moved to Disneyland in 1966 where it continues to operate today, with versions also in Disney parks worldwide.
