What is a Slogan?

• Short, often quite memorable phrase advertising a specific
  product, brand, political party, or PLACE
• Purpose is to emphasize something that a company or place would
  like to be remembered for
Tips for Creating an Effective
           Slogan/ Tag-Line

• Keep it simple and direct
• Stay honest
• Ensure that your slogan is AUTHENTIC  it must actually tell the
  reader something about your city-state
• Make the “consumer” feel a desire
  or need to have what you are “selling”
