15. BIRRBIRR
“Being pious, kind, good, gentle, affectionate, beneficent, just,
righteous, virtuous, honest, true, veracious, sweet of speech,
merciful, sinless in performing something , pious”
Thus, it is “goodness attached to the doer inner state; belief ” It is the
category of goodness acknowledged by Islam as “righteousness
borne out of sincere or altruistic intention or inner volition upon
correct belief of Reality (HAQIQAT) ”. This is the definitive goodness
accepted by Allah which thus deserve eternal reward from Him.

A man came to the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ seeking his permission to
participate in Jihad (battle in defence of Islam). He was asked: “Are
your parents alive?” He replied: “Yes!” The Prophet ‫.ﷺ‬ said to him :
“Then go and be with them and Jihad (exert service towards them) .”

There came to Allah's Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ a person and said: ‘I give
my oath of allegiance to you for migration and Jihad seeking
reward only from Allah.’
He (the Holy Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ ) said: ‘Is any one from amongst your
parents still living?’ He said: ‘Yes, of course, both are still living.’
He further asked: ‘Do you want to seek reward from Allah?’ He
said: ‘Yes.’
Thereupon Allah's Messenger ‫ﷺ‬ said: ‘Go back to your
parents and accord them benevolent treatment (companionship).’
