40. Hi. My name is Kellie Jackson and I'm from Northville, Michigan. I'm a
professional account and project manager in the Detroit area. I've
spent 15 years on the accounts side, working for business-to-business
website applications and other print collateral.
I recently finished my Master’s degree in Information Systems
Management from Walsh college in Troy, Michigan with an emphasis
in Project Management. I'm a strong communicator, I specialize in
results-oriented actions and accountabilities. I'm a detail-oriented
manager and really enjoying looking at projects from inception,
creative planning, all the way through execution and delivery.
Following those metrics and making sure those projects and those
programs were successful and contributed to our clients’ bottom line.
If you're looking for a strong communicator and excellent Project or
Account Manager that can demonstrate success and add profit value
to your clients, please contact me. I look forward to meeting you.
41. Tell me about yourself?
Hi, my name is Christine Kiernan and I'm looking for sales coordinator
position within a fast-growing, high energy company. For the past 10 years
I’ve been the main point-person for one of the most prominent residential
construction companies in the country. In my current position, I organize and
facilitate the communications between many high-profile clients, the finest
architects, and the most talented interior designers. I'm in a fast-paced role,
where an excuse in not an answer in the word “no” is not in my vocabulary.
If I don't perform my duties efficiently in affectively an entire project
sequence could shut down.
I've been told by others that I have boundless energy, a great sense of humor
and smile that just won’t quit. I consider myself an entrepreneur, constantly
raising my personal goals but I work as a team player and I’ll do anything to
promote my company and the people around me. If you're looking for a
focused, organized and highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial
mindset, I'm your candidate.
42. When I'm working on a project, I don't want just to meet deadlines. Rather, I prefer to
complete the project well ahead of schedule.
Being organized wasn't my strongest point, but I implemented a time management
system that helped my organization skills.
I like to make sure that my work is perfect, so I tend to perhaps spend a little too
much time checking it. However, I've come to a good balance by setting up a system
to ensure everything is done the first time correctly.
I used to wait until the last minute to set appointments for the coming week, but I
realized that scheduling in advance makes much more sense.
I had difficulty with calculus during college, but I persevered with tutoring assistance
and extra effort and completed two levels with a B-minus average.
43. Telling me about yourself
My name is Melania Smyk and this is my video CV. I hope that by the end of
this video you will have the feeling that you got to know me a bit better and
also that it will be clear to you what value I can add to your company. Let’s
start from the beginning. I was born and raised in Poland. Despite this rather
mono-cultural upbringing, I can safely say that I have a relatively
international educational background. I graduated from IB which stands for
International Baccalaureate in a Polish High School and currently I’m
studying international business and languages in Amsterdam, The
Netherlands.
44. I’m an organized and detail-oriented person. I have excellent writing skills in English, so I can
safely say I write really good business reports, especially considering the fact that I really love
doing the research. I’m also very persistent and motivated when trying to achieve a goal I care
about. An example of this could be me moving to The Netherlands. While it was not easy, there
were some obstacles on the way, such as financial problems and lack of support from people that
were supposed to support me. But in the end I decided to not let go of my dream. So I got a job, I
worked hard during the summer, I saved some money and I made it happen. Then the people
that did not believe in me got convinced because I did not take “no” for an answer. And I did it. I
achieved my goal and I moved to The Netherlands where I’m studying right now.
Although I may come off as a serious person, that’s only because I am serious about what I do –
whether it’s a school assignment or work. But I’m still fun to work with. My colleagues told me
that they feel they can depend on me at work and that I’m very professional., but also that I
know when I can relax and just do more fun. I’m also very analytical and I appreciate the positive,
transparent atmosphere in a team. I also try to understand other’s perspectives and to
communicate clearly and to basically be honest because I think that’s the basis for good and
efficient work.
Here you can see a link to my LinkedIn profile to get to know me better professionally. But in case
you’re wondering what I’m like outside of work and what my interests are, here is a link to my
45. Telling weakness
Sometimes, I spend more time than necessary on a task or take on tasks
personally that could easily be delegated to someone else. Although I've
never missed a deadline, it is still an effort for me to know when to move on
to the next task, and to be confident when assigning others work.
I had difficulty with calculus during college, but I persevered with tutoring
assistance and extra effort and completed two levels with a B-minus average.
I used to like to work on one project to its completion before starting on
another, but I've learned to work on many projects at the same time, and I
think it allows me to be more creative and effective in each one.
I've learned to make my perfectionism work to my advantage. I have become
proficient at meeting deadlines, and with my attention to detail, I know my
work is accurate.
As an undergrad, I used to leave assignments until the last minute, but with
the workload of graduate school, I learned to schedule my time very
effectively.
