Circle is defined as the set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a fixed point called the center. A radius is a line segment from the center to any point on the circle, while a diameter is a line segment going through the center that spans one side of the circle to the other. A chord is a line segment connecting any two points on the circle. The perpendicular from the center to a chord passes through the midpoint of the chord. Chords of equal length must be equidistant from the center.
