Sleep Spindles: Stages of Sleep and How To Sleep Like a Baby

Importance of the N2 Stage of Sleep

transition from lighter stages of sleep to deeper stages of sleep. During N2 sleep, there are a number of
changes that occur in the body:
Decrease in muscle tone: During N2 sleep, muscle tone decreases and the body becomes less active.
