Instructions
Carefully study and analyze the following situation. Use present
perfect, simple past, and adverbs in your conversation.
A therapist and a patient are in the middle of an appointment. The
therapist is interviewing the patient. The patient, who seems to be
very troubled and is about to cry, is sharing the difficult situations
he/she is going through.
Student A - Take the role of a concerned therapist. You are deeply
moved by the problems and situations your patient is going
through. Interview your patient by asking initial and follow-up
questions on the different issues.
Student B - Take the role of a troubled patient. You are having very
serious problems, indeed. Tell the therapist about your issues.
Answer his/her questions by providing a detailed explanation of the
situations.
