This document is a thesis proposal that aims to assess the problem of on-street parking in Dilla, Ethiopia. It outlines the background and context of increasing parking issues in urban areas. The research questions focus on understanding the adequacy of current parking facilities, identifying problems, assessing policies, and recommending solutions. The objectives are to determine the efficiency of on-street parking, identify major issues, assess policies, and provide practical solutions. The study aims to help parking management and provide guidelines for Dilla and other urban centers in Ethiopia. Some limitations include limited data and reluctance of respondents.
