Sina Mobasher Moghaddam is a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. His research focuses on tribology, fatigue, and failure analysis through experimental testing and finite element modeling. He has over 10 publications and presentations on topics including rolling contact fatigue, butterfly wing formation in bearing steel, and the effects of material properties on fatigue life. He has also worked on several research projects with industry partners analyzing bearing materials and performance.
