SIMPLE TENSES
2. Present simple
The Simple Present is a verb tense used to describe habitual actions that
occur frequently and does not refer to whether it is happening at the
present time.
Present Simple negative: Subject + Do not or do not / does not or does
not action verb + infinitive + Ins. And to Interrogative Simple Present: Do
/ does subject action verb infinitive + Ins?
Example:
1. I play baseball
2. I don't play baseball
3. Past simple
Simple Past tense is used to describe actions that have happened at an
earlier time and have already completed.
To construct the negative and interrogative forms of the Simple Past, we
need the help of the auxiliary verb (to) do, this time with his past time,
DID. Negative form of Past Simple: Subject + did not / did not + action
verb infinitive + Ins.
Interrogative Simple Past: DID + Subject + action verb infinitive + Ins.
Example:
1. She broke the window
2. The child clean the house
4. Future simple
The Simple Future tense is used to describe actions that will develop in
the future without the need to clarify at what point will occur. Its
equivalent in the Spanish language is Future Imperfect.
It is a verb tense used to express actions that take place in the future, no
matter the time too. It is formed with the particle will + infinitive verb of
action without (to).
Simple negatively Future: Subject will not / will not action verb infinitive
+ Ins.
Future Simple interrogative: Will action Subject Verb infinitive + Ins?
Example:
1. I will travel to Margarita
2. Juan Pablo will not visit her aunt tomorrow
