Olsztyn is a city in northern Poland situated around 15 lakes. It has a historic Old Town containing monuments like the 14th century Saint Jacob Apostle's Church and a castle complex where Nicolas Copernicus lived and worked for many years in the early 16th century. While living in the castle, Copernicus wrote early works on economics and used the walls to draw lines aiding his astronomical research that would later revolutionize the field.
