5. 5 Short Code : Why Short Codes make everyday experiences interactive and Make them faster and easier. For example, if your favorite radio station has a Short Code, you may be able to use it to request songs, enter contests, vote on talk show issues, receive traffic and weather Reports , and access many other services. Unlike a 1-800 number or 10 digit Mobile number, Short Codes Are easy to remember and of multiple use. It can be use as dedicated or Shared SAC. 24 July 2009
6. 6 Short Code : Uses in VAS In VAS market SACs are playing major role. Whole market is playing around SAC. SACs can be used as shared and dedicated. Dedicated short codes are dedicated for one customer, and are costly and take awhile to set up. While Shared short codes are shared among customers and use keywords to identify their traffic. The cost of these is pretty small, and you can access different services from different companies on the same SAC. 24 July 2009

9. 9 Short Code : Challenges To manage a SAC PAN india is a difficult task coz we have to manage it operator and circle wise. Management of SAC is also depends on type of services offered. To Backup nationwide SAC, company requires full bouquet of services and different types of content. Company can go for PAN India SAC but with good amount of content only. 24 July 2009
