WHAT IS MISSED CALL ALERT AND VOICE MAIL?
Nowadays people are mostly socializing and
working over their phones. Missed calls due to
their phones’ off-the-service may cause missing
business & connection opportunity for
customers and losing revenue for service
providers.
Call Completion (including Missed Call Alert &
Voice Mail) is the service that provides
notifications for subscribers about their missed
calls while their phone was off or out of
coverage area. Call Completion has the second
highest percentage of subscribers only after
Color Ring Back Tone in almost all countries.
Call Completion System includes 2 main
sub-systems: Missed Call Alert – MCA and
Voicemail System – VM which allows subscriber
to receive missed call notification or voice
message of caller when subscriber was out of
service because of poor network quality, out of
coverage or power off.
KEY FEATURES
Missed Call Alert (MCA) provides flexible and
configurable modes:
 Multiple notification modes:
> Single SMS/email per missed call;
> Single SMS/email per multiple missed calls;
> Multiple SMSs/emails for all missed calls;
> A SMS to caller notifying that the subscriber’s
service is back on;
 Sleep time when the missed call alerts are not
delivered (For example at lunch time from 12:00
to 12:30, customers do not want to be disturbed
by missed call notifications)
Voice mail (VM) offers a voice response and voice
mail for registered subscribers. The missed calls are
transferred to VM system and VM will send back a
notification to caller so that caller can leave voice
message to receiver. VM also provides automatic
response to individual or a specific group of
contacts.
