Well-designed political posters are important to appeal to and encourage voters. They have the ability to gather momentum from the mass population by creating a remarkable impression on voters of all ages and cultures. An effective poster draws attention and influences viewers' perspectives through a clear, concise message without too much text. It makes the politician relevant by relating to the values and symbols of the country they are running in. For example, a poster of Barack Obama using colors similar to the American flag positioned his message of "hope" as representing America. ability to get the vote of the population. Having an efficient and well designed poster
can gather momentum from the mass population. It creates a remarkable impression to

influences the point of view of the voters. From this, the poster become effective as
having a well designed poster without too much information making it innovative and
usable from any various of posters, billboards and ads that will help the politician reach
his/her target mass. The poster does not consume a lot of text making the message to
its target audiences easily transferred and remembered.
A well designed poster also make the politician relevant to the country that he/she was
running to. With this poster it was clearly relevant to America as the colours that have
used was undeniably similar to the American Flag which will make the voters think that
the politician in the poster was representing the country already even just on the post.

stroke above the letter E make it more relevant as it has the same element with the
American Flag. The message was short yet direct to the point. There is a typography that
says HOPE which indicate that the person on the graphic was the HOPE for americans.
This will make the target drawn to the politician more. Shepard Fairey has done a great
job creating this campaign poster as he made the runner relevant to the country that he
was trying to serve to. This only proves that a great design can caught people’s eye and
can influence someone’s perspective.
Going on to the step on how to make this type of poster, For this effect it is best to
have a portrait style picture. Once you have your image, you need to Open it
in Photoshop and Crop it appropriately. The top of the image should be
cropped to the top of your subject's head. Now cut out your main subject
using a magic wand tool and make another layer. After making a new layer
of your subject. Desaturate it and go to filter>artistic>cutout. After that
adjust the levels and simplicity to number 5 and fidelity to 1. After that right

3. click to the layer and choose channel mixer. Then go to the adjustment and
choose posterize. Change the level from 4 to 5, then go back to the
adjustment panel and choose gradient map
