4. Virtual Schedule
Instructional Expectations:
● Morning Meeting- 5 days perweek
● Guided Reading- at least 4 times per week
● Guided Math- at least 4 times per week
● NumberTalks- 5 days perweek

5. Parent and Student Virtual Expectations
1. Attendance will be taken daily
2. Reading and math will be the focus. Science and Social studies will be integrated throughout. No
enhancements. CCE will provide an activity board
3. Making sure your child is able to log in to assigned times and work will be completed and turned
based on the deadlines from teacher
4. Having internet at home and a device either from school or your own
5. Your child will be recommended to return to face-to-face instruction if work is not turned in and there
is no participation in lessons
6. Your child may need to come to school to take state assessments, etc.
7. Your child’s promotion or retention depends upon work turned in and participation during lessons
8. You agree to support your child at home as a virtual learning
9. Please do not sit and tell your child the answers and complete the work for them
7. In-Person Learning Example Schedule
Instructional Expectations:

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE?
YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND?
THE VIRTUAL DECISION WILL BE ASSESSED AT THE END OF EACH
QUARTER.
10. Attendance
In-Person Attendance Expectation: daily attendance will be taken and for the 3
off days participation in Zoom & work completed and turned in will count as
attendance. For the most part, Zoom’s will be recorded so you can watch at
another time if the live is not convenient for you.
All Virtual Attendance: students will be marked present, however if there is no
participation during Zooms, work not completed, students will be marked absent. If
attendance becomes and issue you’ll be asked to bring child for in-person learning
or face possible retention.
11. Sending Your Child to School Sick
➢ Please do not send your child to school sick. If they
have a fever, please keep them home.
➢ Medication to reduce a fever still means that they are
sick.

12. Bus Riders
In order for your child to be able to ride the bus on the first day of
school, whether it be in the morning or afternoon or both please

Our TAs will work on calling families next week to let
them know about their bus number, pickup time frame,
etc.
15. Items to Get at School
Pick Up Days Only: August 13th & 14th
1. Car Rider Tags, you’ll need one for afternoon pick up and if you
are picking multiple kids that aren’t your own
1. 3rd & 5th grade students planners (Recommended): $7 each
1. A device if your child is need of one to complete virtual work (you
do not need to fill out a form to do so)

17. Parent Volunteers & Food
At this time parent volunteers will not be permitted in
CCE
Parents will not have the option to eat lunch with your
child
No outside food will be permitted at CCE, except for
student lunches
Water fountain usage will be limited. Please pack water
bottles with your students.
18. Students with 504’s, IEP’s and AIG Services
Students that receive any of these services will still be
receiving services.
19. Cases Being Reported
If any positive cases are determined at Coddle Creek,
we will follow all Health Department Protocol and our
District Contamination Process
20. Your Child’s Teacher
Teachers will be calling you on or before the August 10th.
They will confirm:
● Days in attendance
● Bus or Car
● All forms completed
● Car rider tags, planners & devices
● We will provide all students with a lanyard to clip their mask onto.
21. Virtual Open House
Wednesday, August 12th
K-2 Grade Hybrid Students (5:30 PM - 6:30 PM)
● In person teacher will schedule their virtual zoom session from 5:30pm from their classrooms.
3-5 Grade Hybrid Students (6:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
● In person teacher will schedule their virtual zoom session from 7:00 PM from their
classrooms.
100% VIRTUAL Students (6:00 PM)
● Your child’s virtual teacher will schedule their virtual zoom session at 6:00 PM
Parents will receive communication from their teachers before Open House
