ASSIGNMENT: Shapes, Text and Gradations
Create 3 compositions that use text (words from a random word generator),
regular and irregular shapes, and gradations (ramped and stepped) in both the
background and the words and shapes. Please visit dafont.com for a wider
selection of fonts and clip art from dingbats. Your 3 compositions can be a
combination of any of the above, but the following must be evident in one or
more of them:
Ramped Gradation
Stepped Gradation
Text with gradation
Regular shapes with gradation
Irregular shapes with gradation
Please keep the Principles of Design in mind, avoid chaos with unnecessary
variety, and try to emphasize and subordinate certain shapes or words.
