This document describes the relationship between genotypes and phenotypes for color blindness and lactation. For color blindness, it shows that females with two X chromosomes are normal, females with one X and one XC chromosome are carriers, females with two XC chromosomes are color blind, males with an X and Y chromosome are normal, and males with an XC and Y chromosome are color blind. For lactation in cattle, it indicates that females with two XL chromosomes or one XL and one XI chromosome lactate, females with two Xl chromosomes do not lactate, and males do not lactate regardless of their genotype.
