Gimnazija Vič is a secondary school in Slovenia that was established in 1929. It has approximately 740 students aged 14-19. The school employs a headmistress, deputies, teachers, teaching assistants, secretaries, accountants, and other staff.
The core subjects of Math, Slovene, English, History, and PE are required all four years. Other subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and foreign languages are required for the first few years. Students can select optional subjects in their third year and subjects for their final exams in fourth year.
The school year is divided into two semesters from September to January and January to June. Students have weekly breaks and longer holidays between terms.
