This document summarizes the development and application of the Inclusive Trade Policy Making Index (ITPMI). The ITPMI was first applied in 2009 to assess the inclusiveness of trade policymaking processes in five countries. It analyzed participation of key actors like government ministries, private sector, and civil society organizations. Based on lessons from 2009, the ITPMI questionnaire was improved for a 2010 survey. Factor analysis of 2010 results validated the conceptual framework and identified three dimensions of governance, participation, and representation. Going forward, the ITPMI aims to strengthen methodology, expand its database, and use it to promote more inclusive development approaches beyond trade policy or specific countries.
The OECD's Competition Assessment Toolkit helps governments to eliminate barriers to competition by providing a method for identifying unnecessary restraints on market activities and developing alternative, less restrictive measures that still achieve government policy objectives. It consists of 3 volumes: Principles, Guidance and Operational Manual.
Greece, Mexico, Romania and Portugal have been using the OECD Competition Assessment toolkit to identify regulatory contraints on competition in specific sectors. Read more about the toolkit at oe.cd/cat.

Yangon, the former capital city of Myanmar, gradually increases high rise buildings. But, Myanmar, our country, is one of the countries which still weakened at the quality management system of construction projects. Few construction companies in Myanmar hold the certificates of ISO standards and also there are few people who understand that how much quality is very important for the construction industry. Actually, quality is very important for all stages of construction projects to save time and money of the whole projects. In this situation, two construction projects in Myanmar which are constructed under different construction companies have been chosen to apply the statistical quality control methods to know which areas are needed to emphasis to get the better quality performances of construction projects in Myanmar. This finding can be useful to solve some quality problems of construction projects and by using these statistical quality control methods, quality weak points can be analyzed and reduced to get the better quality performances of the construction project. This objective of this paper is, to identify the 2nd Generation Construction procurement Reform from the procurement global construction survey and to attend to the views of the buyers (owners) of construction services and look at their take on the current state of the industry, their levels of satisfaction and importantly, some of the key issues facing future project planning and the appointment of contractors. Survey carried out research which sought to identify those issues which keep the CEOs of major contracting companies to say, the business risks facing contractors and the management of construction projects. The research survey carried out by owners, chief executives and senior executives of major leading global companies to explore three main areas: 1.Current business trends, 2.Managing the building process and 3.The future.

ACC 675 Final Project Guidelines and Rubric
Overview
The final project for this course is the creation of a case study analysis. You will use the article The SOX Compliance Journey at Trinity Industries as a resource for
this project.
Companies today must ensure that operational processes are performing efficiently and effectively in compliance with current regulations. Accountants must
adhere to domestic standards set by organizations—such as the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and the Financial Accounting and Standards
Board—as well as global standards, such as the International Financial Reporting Standards, requiring appropriate implementation and assessment of internal
controls. Whether developing appropriate processes internally or preparing substantive testing, external auditors must be able to quickly and completely assess
the financial processes, determine weaknesses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
The ability to transcribe formalized or narrative processes into functional workflows allows an auditor to identify potential gaps in accounting systems. These
gaps can result in material audit findings necessitating changes in the company’s control structure.
However, it is not only the process and flow of transactions that requires scrutiny. Companies evolve into sophisticated, computerized systems that require an in-
depth understanding of administrative rights, electronic process flows, and end user reporting.
In this case study, you will apply all of these skills in developing recommendations for Trinity Industries. Though the Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX)
promulgated many internal control structure changes, the company is unsure as to whether they are applying too few or too many internal controls. Unnecessary
controls place added burden on staff and cost the company thousands of dollars in monitoring and maintenance.
Your role will be to provide an overview of the company and its market industry. From this you will formulate your processes into a comprehensive flowchart that
will be used to identify gaps in processes and other threats to potential audit weaknesses.
The project is divided into four milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final
submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Modules Two, Four, Six, and Seven. The final product will be submitted in Module Nine.
In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcomes:
Transcribe formalized or verbal financial processes into both narrative and process flowcharts for identifying gaps resulting in potential material
weaknesses
Summarize advantages and disadvantages of various accounting electronic data processing systems with respect to a specific industry’s needs

Report on future policies and regulatory frameworksOles Kulchytskyy
The Report on future policies and regulatory frameworks for social media and content convergence: information disorder, human rights and regulatory implications (D2.3) gives a comprehensive insight into the functioning of the regulatory and governance initiatives addressing the human rights concerns related to information disorder in social media. Moreover, it provides better understanding of the regulatory and governance implications of such efforts, including their potential impact on policy definition, incentives employed, State’s involvement, building societal trust, etc. In addition to the contents planned with the project Grant Agreement and due to the situation with the world COVID-19 pandemic, this particular context and its implications on the topics discussed here is also addressed in the report.
The information is prepared by the team of the COMPACT project (http://compact-media.eu/).
COMPACT is a Coordination and Support Action funded European Commission under framework Horizon 2020.
The objective of the COMPACT project is to increase awareness (including scientific, political, cultural, legal, economic and technical areas) of the latest technological discoveries among key stakeholders in the context of social media and convergence. The project will offer analyses and road maps of related initiatives. In addition, extensive research on policies and regulatory frameworks in media and content will be developed.
This presentation by the OECD Competition Division was made during a roundtable discussion on Competition Compliance Programmes, held at the 133rd meeting of the Working Party No. 3 on Co-operation and Enforcement on 8 June 2021.
More papers and contributions from delegations on the topic can be found out at www.oecd.org/daf/competition/competition-compliance-programmes.htm
How performance management can improve client satisfactionSkanska USA
Early in her construction career, Wendy (Li) MacLeod-Roemer realized there was significant room to improve construction delivery beyond traditional means. To help advance our industry, she decided to pursue a PhD in organization management to understand what changes would be most effective. She dedicated her thesis to exploring how performance management can transform construction projects. Here, Wendy – now one of our senior project managers – explains how her research shows that cost isn’t what is most important to clients.
