SESSION III:
                      Applying the Information in Your PLC

The Purpose of Session III:
     To provide time for each PLC to share and reflect upon the information they learned this morning
     concerning differentiation
     To provide PLC Teams time to develop a common PLC differentiated lesson, project, or
     activity/task that will be implemented 2nd or 3rd quarter and shared with the division


Directions:
      Each PLC Team will briefly present the following information on March 11, 2013:
         o explanation of the differentiated lesson, project, or activity/task that their PLC team has
            taught, which includes:
                the KUD related to the differentiated lesson, project, or activity/task
                the type of differentiation involved (interest, learning profile, or readiness)
                a summary of the differentiated lesson, project, or activity/task
         o the successes experienced
         o the challenges experienced
         o next steps concerning differentiation


Follow-Up:
      On March 11th (School Improvement Day), each of our Division PLC Teams will spend time
      sharing this differentiated lesson, project, or activity/task that they have delivered to their students
      (between October 10, 2012 and March 1, 2013).


Optional Support:
      For those needing assistance getting started, an optional design template has been provided on the
      back of this sheet.


Optional Challenge:
      For those teams wishing to embrace an additional challenge, after you have designed your
      differentiated lesson, project, or activity/task, develop a schedule to peer observe your co-PLC
      members teaching this differentiated lesson, project, or activity/task. Use your peer observations to
      help shape your team’s reflection that will be shared on March 11, 2013.
