Love Lifted Me
He loved us and sent his son as
an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:10
I was sinking deep in sin,
Far from the peaceful shore,
Very deeply stained within,
Sinking to rise no more;
But the master of the sea
Heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me,
Now safe am I.
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Loved lifted me.
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Loved lifted me.
All my heart to Him I give,
Ever to him I’ll cling,
In His blessed presence live,
Ever His praises sing;
Love so mighty and so true.
Merits my soul’s best songs;
Faithful, loving service, too,
To Him belongs.
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Loved lifted me.
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Loved lifted me.
Souls in danger, look above,
Jesus completely saves;
He will lift you by His love
Out of the angry waves;
He’s the Master of the sea,
Billows His will obey;
He your Savior wants to be,
Be saved today.
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Loved lifted me.
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Love lifted me.
Jesus Paid It All
You are not your own; you were
bought at a price. Therefore
honor God. 1 Cor. 6:19 -20
I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small!
Child of weakness,
watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all”
Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow.
Lord, Now indeed I find
Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.
Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow.
For nothing good have I
Where by Thy grace to claim
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calvrys Lamb.
Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow.
And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
My lips shall still repeat.
Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow.
Jesus Loves Even Me
Christ loved the church and gave
Himself up for her.
Eph. 5:25
I am so glad that our
Father in heav’n
Tells of his love in the
Book He has giv’n;
Wonderful things in the
Bible I see-
This is the dearest that
Jesus Loves me.
I am so glad
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.
Tho I forget Him and
wander away,
Still He doth love me
wherever I stray;
Back to His dear loving
arms would I flee
When I remember that
Jesus loves me.
I am so glad
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.
O if there’s only one
song I can sing
When in His beauty
I see the great King,
This shall my song
in eternity be:
“O what a wonder,
that Jesus loves me!”
I am so glad
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.
I’d Rather
Have Jesus
I’d rather have Jesus
than silver or gold;
I’d rather be His
than have riches untold;
I’d rather have Jesus
than houses or lands;
I’d rather be led
by His nail-pierced hand
Than to be the king
of a vast domain
And be held in sin’s
dread sway;
I’d rather have Jesus
than anything
This world affords today.
I’d rather have Jesus
than men’s applause;
I’d rather be faithful
to His dear cause;
I’d rather have Jesus
than worldwide fame;
I’d rather be true
to His holy name
Than to be the king
of a vast domain
And be held in sin’s
dread sway;
I’d rather have Jesus
than anything
This world affords today.
He’s fairer than lilies
of rarest bloom;
He’s sweeter than honey
from out the comb;
He’s all that my hungering
spirit needs;
I’d rather have Jesus
and let Him lead
Than to be the king
of a vast domain
And be held in sin’s
dread sway;
I’d rather have Jesus
than anything
This world affords today.
Praise God from whom all
blessings flow; Praise Him,
all creatures here below;
Praise Him above,
ye heav’n-ly host; Praise Father,
Son and Holy Ghost.
Ephesians 2: 1-10
Once you were dead because of
your disobedience and your many
sins. 2 You used to live in sin, just
like the rest of the world, obeying
the devil—the commander of the
powers in the unseen world. He is
the spirit at work in the hearts of
those who refuse to obey God. 3 All
of us used to live that way,
following the passionate desires
and inclinations of our sinful
nature. By our very nature we were
subject to God’s anger, just like
everyone else. 4 But God is so rich in
mercy, and he loved us so much,
5 that even though we were dead
because of our sins, he gave us life
when he raised Christ from the
dead. (It is only by God’s grace that
you have been saved!) 6 For he
raised us from the dead along with
Christ and seated us with him in the
heavenly realms because we are
united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God
can point to us in all future ages as
examples of the incredible wealth
of his grace and kindness toward
us, as shown in all he has done for
us who are united with Christ Jesus.
•8 God saved you by his grace when
you believed. And you can’t take
credit for this; it is a gift from God.
9 Salvation is not a reward for the
good things we have done, so none
of us can boast about it. 10 For we
are God’s masterpiece. He has
created us anew in Christ Jesus, so
we can do the good things he
planned for us long ago.
Spirit of the Living God,
Fall fresh on me.
Spirit of the Living God,
fall fresh on me.
Melt me, mold me,
fill me, Use me.
Spirit of the Living God,
Fall fresh on me.
I CAN DO EVERYTHING THROUGH
HIM WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH
PHIL.4:13
Just a Closer Walk
with Thee
I am weak but thou art strong
Jesus keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk
close to Thee
Just a closer walk with Thee
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily, walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
Thro’ this world of
toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord,
none but Thee
Just a closer walk with Thee
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily, walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
When my feeble life is o’er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore,
to Thy shore.
Just a closer walk with Thee
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily, walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
