What a Friend we have in Jesus
What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and grief's to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge; Take it to the Lord in prayer. Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In his arms he'll take and shield thee; You will find a solace there.

The explanation to the second article of the Apostles Creed
I believe that Jesus Christ, true God, begotten of the Father from eternity, and also true man, born of the virgin Mary, is my Lord. He has redeemed me, a lost and condemned creature, purchased and won me from all sins, from death, and from the power of the devil, not with gold or silver but with his holy, precious blood and with his innocent suffering and death.
All this he did that I should be his own, and live under him in his kingdom, and serve him in everlasting righteousness, innocence, and blessedness, just as he has risen from death and lives and rules eternally.

Offering Bring the whole tithe into the store-house, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. Malachi 3:10 Please sign the guest register on your table. Thank you.

How He Loves – Written by David Crowder He is Jealous for me Loves like a hurricane I am a tree Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy
When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory And I realize just how beautiful you are and how great your affections are for me
Oh, how he loves us so Oh how he loves us How he loves us all
He is Jealous for me Loves like a hurricane I am a tree Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy
When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory And I realize just how beautiful you are and how great your affections are for me
Oh, how he loves us so Oh how he loves us How he loves us all

Yeah, he loves us Oh how he loves us, Oh How he loves us, Oh how he loves
And we are His portion And He is our prize, Drawn to redemption By the grace in His eyes, If his grace is an ocean, we're all sinking
And heaven meets earth Like an unforeseen kiss, And my heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don't have time to maintain these regrets, When I think about, the way:
That, he loves us Oh how he loves us, Oh How he loves us, Oh how he loves

I know you’ve heard the stories But they all sound too good to be true You’ve heard about a place called home But there doesn’t seem to be one for you So one more night you cry yourself to sleep And drift off to a distant dream
Where love takes you in and everything changes A miracle starts with the beat of a heart When love takes you home and says you belong here The loneliness ends and a new life begins When love takes you in
L: “Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.” C: “Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.” (Psalm 32:1-2)
L: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” C: “See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24)
L: We confess to you, O God, that our hearts too often turn from your way. C: We have chased after things we thought would make us feel good. We have neglected things that are good.
L: We confess to you, O God, that our minds too often turn from your truth. C: We have flirted with falsehood and rationalized wrongs. We have questioned your goodness and challenged your justice.
L:“Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.” C: “Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.” (Psalm 51:9 & 12)
L: Your sin is forgiven, for Jesus paid its price. Your guilt is gone, because Jesus endured its shame. You have received the Holy Spirit to assure you that God is your dear Father and to empower you to live as his daughters and sons.
And somewhere while you’re sleeping Someone else is dreaming too Counting down the days until They hold you close and say I love you And like the rain that falls into the sea In a moment what has been is lost in what will be
When love takes you in and everything changes A miracle starts with the beat of a heart When love takes you home and says you belong here The loneliness ends and a new life begins
And this love will never let you go There is nothing that could ever cause this love to lose its hold
When love takes you in and everything changes A miracle starts with the beat of a heart When love takes you home and says you belong here The loneliness ends and a new life begins
When love takes you in it takes you in for good
When love takes you in

Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, The love of God, And the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you always!
