The terrorist attack on September 9, 2001, known as 9/11, was the most devastating terrorist attack
to date, due to the high death toll, the suspected secondary explosion found in the Twin Towers, and

On September 9, 2001, at 7:59 am, The American Airlines Flight 11 took off from Boston Logan

hijacked. During that time, the Boston Airport was in contact with the air force, but the air force
ignored them, and thought was an error. At 8:41 am, United Airlines Flight 93 took off from Newark
International Airport. Meanwhile, in New York at 8:46 am, American Flight 11 crashed into the
North Tower of the World Trade Center. All of the New York City Fire Department and Police
Department were sent to evacuate the building. In Florida, 1,184 miles away, Andrew Card the
White House Chief of Staff notified President George Bush that a plane had just hit the World Trade

In the South Tower, authorities started evacuating about 10,000 to 14,000 people from the building.

down town Manhattan became the last day for many people. People were living and enjoying life

It was a normal, September morning for Roz and her daughter, Amanda. She dropped her off at her
school and rode the subway to get to her job at the first World Trade Center building. After a few

On September 11, 2001, The United States was attacked by terrorists who sought to disturb the
freedom that the United States is well known for. These terrorists hijacked four of United States

At 9:12 on Flight 77, staff and passengers contacted their family and friends and air traffic control
that the plane had been hijacked. Approximately at 9:36, Secret Service agents evacuate the White

it's target. The Pentagon headquarters was hit at 9:45 am on the west side. This plane was another

American Airlines Flight 11, a Boeing 767 around 7:59 am September 11, 2001. Everything seemed
normal nothing to worry about, but then everything changed and almost at the same time too.

chicken slaughterhouse. Looking at that this seemingly innocuous sentence it seems to convey the
simple message of how certain industries have been attempting to push the government to put more
restriction on what information people can share on the Internet. Not only that but pushing for an
increase in the censorship of certain websites and how they let there users interact. However, if one
really looks into the history of this message on the wall, they can see an interesting correlation as to

Nearly thirty minutes after the terrorists launched their take over, the passengers charged the cockpit
door. The hijackers attempted knocking the passengers off balance by pitching the nose of the
airplane up and down. The passengers did not give up; they continued their assault until the hijacker
knew they were about to break through. The flight was going over Shanksville, Pennsylvania and
the pilot decided to aim the airplane going 580 miles per hour into an abandoned field only about
